History

Founding & Early Days (Late 2023)

PAIN was founded toward the end of 2023 by two leaders: Dayto and DDD. Not long after its creation, a third leader joined, but due to a fallout, that leader removed all members from the squad. Despite the incident, Dayto and DDD rebuilt the squad. During this time, Projelly joined and quickly rose to leadership. The squad began to recover, steadily gaining back its members as the community continued to evolve.

Leadership Changes & Growth (2025)

In early 2025, Projelly stepped away from PAIN due to burnout and took a break from recruiting. During this period, new members were promoted to leadership roles. While DDD and Dayto gradually became less active in War Brokers, the new leaders stepped up and helped guide the squad to new heights. With renewed energy and Projelly joining back as a leader, PAIN experienced rapid growth, doubling its size from 31 to 64 members. However, with that growth came new expectations. To maintain a healthy and active squad, some members who didn't meet updated requirements were respectfully removed, which is reflected in the decline after the peak.

The Major Crisis (September 2025)

In September 2025, a leadership mistake led to one of the hardest moments in PAIN's history. Dayto promoted a new leader without consulting the team. That leader was not active on Discord, limiting communication and oversight. On September 18th, 2025, the new leader removed 40 active members, leaving only 30. The squad went into immediate panic.

Projelly responded quickly, removing all leadership roles to stop further damage and starting recovery efforts. Removed members were contacted, and Bogan and Asiro returned to leadership to help stabilize the squad. Major structural changes followed: Dayto was removed from the squad, leadership standards were redefined, leaders were required to be active on Discord, and promotions now required team agreement. DDD and Lena were removed from leadership during restructuring, and Hffirrje CZ was appointed under the new system. By December 2025, 18 active members returned, bringing the total to 48 active members.

A Stale Period & New Push Forward (Late 2025 — Present)

After recovery, activity slowed as the game declined. Recruitment decreased, and numbers gradually fell to 38 active members. In February 2026, leadership decided to recruit again. The future is uncertain, but the team is optimistic and focused on steady, careful growth. PAIN has survived setbacks, rebuilds, and major challenges — and continues to stand stronger.
